Innovative Approaches to Financing Energy Efficiency in Asia

This report highlights two case studies from India (energy-efficient streetlights and waste heat conversion) and one from Thailand (low-interest energy efficiency revolving fund). Each case study describes how an innovative approach was used to bring together financiers, technology providers, and project developers to break down the barriers to financing energy efficiency projects. The results are an increase in available finance and greater adoption of technologies and best practices.
