The Geospatial Toolkit (GsT) is an interactive application that can be used for decision making and policy analysis in addition to planning for future renewable energy projects. This map-based software application includes resource data and other geographic information systems (GIS) data, such as energy and transportation infrastructure, population centers, and protected areas, for integrated resource assessment. Renewable energy resource data can be useful in establishing priorities for renewable energy initiatives, exploring expansion of energy services to under-served populations, and attracting investment in renewable energy projects.
