This report discusses how access for investment finance and demand for energy products can be increased, taking into account perspectives of banks, microfinance institutions, savings and credit cooperatives, and informal lending organizations. Case studies from Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania provide examples of implementation, highlight barriers that remain, and offer opportunities for scale up.
