This final chapter of a five-part report series summarizes the promotion of mechanisms aimed at increasing the adoption of energy efficient technologies and practices in a small-scale industry in India (the ceramics cluster in Khurja). The most significant barriers identified are related to size and scale issues, the capital required, the risks involved, and limitations in knowledge and information. To support small and medium enterprise energy efficiency in the studied ceramics cluster, interventions must be designed to address each of these barriers.
