This report examines the findings of the U.S. National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency - an initiative involving leading gas and electric utilities, state agencies, energy consumers, energy service providers, environmental organizations and energy efficiency advocates whose goal was the creation of a national commitment to energy efficiency. This report, aimed at gas and electric utilities, regulators and energy consumers, summarizes the major findings of the group regarding best practices, opportunities and challenges in implementing energy efficiency programs.
