It then details the key services that DR resources can provide, including ensuring resource adequacy, reducing energy prices through market participation and providing various ancillary services. The paper concludes with a discussion of the challenges faced by DR programs, and the authors provide recommendations for facilitating maximum DR participation and use moving forward.
